This was a result of a faulty fan that crashed the system, and when it was brought back up there was a file system error that required a check disk to be run. But while the website and primary dns server was offline, the secondary dns server kept dns services operational. Apologies for any inconvenience.
The outage was noticed at 4:00 PM on Tuesday and was resolved at around 10:00 PM.
