Before you were always able to add a slave zone to the list regardless of whether or not the slave zone would actually work. When it doesn't work, it was easy to be left wondering why. Now the website proactively attempts to transfer the zone itself before it will even let you add it to the slave zone list. If it is unable to transfer the zone, then it will offer you tips to get it working.
I've done the same with the "Retransfer" command. It is now website driven, and the dns server is only called upon if the transfer was successful.
I plan to do the same with the "Refresh" command, but didn't get to it in this coding session.
These changes not only let me provide an easier-to-use service, but also helps free up the dns server from having to work as hard. Good times for everybody. Dave Clark [email] [irc chat] DollarDNS Services

What I did before wasn't intuitive enough. I've improved the error and success messages to better convey what is going on so that people don't get confused so easily.
I still haven't gotten to the refresh command, yet. Creating zones and retransferring zones will warn you about problems immediately. But the refresh command does not - so you would have to look at activity logs to see the result. Dave Clark [email] [irc chat] DollarDNS Services
