Once upon a time, my ISP was restructuring their network and asked me to move my services to another server. I didn't mind cause I was on a server that was 5 years old - and this was a great opportunity to upgrade web, dns, and database servers all at once. It was hard work, but I got everything situated and running on the new server. But then I noticed that they didn't give me an 80 gig harddrive like I used to have. So I asked them to add another harddrive. But in the process they accidentally destroyed the data on the new server. So they rebuilt the new server with an 80 gig harddrive and asked me to do it all over again. That is why the server has been down for the past 4 hours. We are back on the old server, and now I gotta resetup the new server. What can I say, eh? It sucks, but we gotta roll with the punches. If you were terribly inconvenienced with all the madness lately, I won't take it personal if you decide to move somewhere else.

That means any DNS changes and new zones you added to your account in the past few days have been rolled back to before I switched servers.

Ok, we're on the new server (again). I'm going through looking for stuff that is broken. Let me know if you see something.

Ok, I'm done with my inspection. Everything seems to be working the way it was on the previous server except for query statistics. This newer version of BIND outputs query statistics in a drastically different format. So I'm going to have to spend a few hours reprogramming the feature. So consider it unavailable until I let you know otherwise.
